Pirates
BigTV 2003

Pirates is a short film about the Pirates who rule over the Lego land’s and oceans. Possibly based on a true story; Pirates documents the adventures of Roy, a petrol station employee who decides to rescue a mysterious girl kidnapped by pirates.

The 8 minute film was entirely improvised during the animating process, and most of the dialogue wasn't even decided on until post production. The term "animation" is also used loosely in describing this piece, as some scenes are comprised of only a few frames cutting back and forth to form a conversation.

Killer Worms from Outer Space
Pikitia Degree Show 2003

Killer Worms from Outer Space, Special FX special was made over three months in 2003, with a small group of friends and no money.

Based on a concept by Will Fleming, the script was full of obscure movie references and in-jokes, making this film hilarious to film geeks and mildly amusing to the general public.

The White Noise Experiment
Pikitia Degree Show 2003

The White Noise Experiment was made as an experiment to separate audio and image, while maintaining some sense of parallel narrative.

The story follows Cameron (Shane Burns), who can hear the real world but sees something else. The climax involves a murder, a realisation, and an imaginary man morphing into a cracker.
